Thursday 8th of March is the official date of International Women’s Day but the event is celebrated right through the month of March all around the world.
International Women’s day celebrates the economic, political and social achievements of women around the world. Although faced with many serious issues, women also celebrate throughout March the light hearted and fun side of being a woman with such events as; The Vaginellas Poetry Fun and Frolics in the UK which supports cancer and helps raise awareness, International Women’ s Day Fun Run in Australia and A Pastry Bash in USA just to name a few.
Another fun way for women in all these countries to celebrate being a woman over the month of March is with the help of a company that has female directors running its franchises in the Australia, UK and Florida. Butlers in the Buff has been running for over 10 years in the United Kingdom and is now establishing itself across the world including Australia as one of the best entertainment companies for women.
The Butlers at Butlers in the Buff are employed not just for their extremely good looks but also their charm and personality treating women with respect whilst making sure they have a great time at their event with a little bit of cheekiness thrown in. We have asked a few Butlers across the world what women have inspired them throughout their lives and this is what they had to say...
It didn’t take long for Fin a Butler in the Buff from the UK to answer this questions:
“Rosa Parks has inspired me, as when reading about her as a young child, I realised that you should not let anybody tell you what to do or push you about if you do not believe it is correct, even if the social norm. I realised that in life you have to stand up for what you believe and if you want change you have to do something about it yourself and not wait about for other people to open doors for you. I've learnt that if you persist you will eventually come out on top and not let small obstacles lie in your way.” Says Finian Ralph, aged 20, from Wales, UK.
Richie Milne from Butlers in the Buff Australia is inspired by Mothers everywhere " it amazes me, the hours of labour women go through, and still have a smile on their faces at the end. They nurture us, teach us and help us grow into the people we are today."
